Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to move to Atlanta. Her father took his first steps towards theater. He acted on his Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions in Atlanta. When he was stationed in Biloxi the Mississippi state, he was cast as a soldier in a play with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, they got married and, in 1956, their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter and his wife resigned from the Air Force in the year 1957 when they enrolled Walter to Tulane University. Walter started his work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show for kids named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. The show was a success and they were paid. Later that year they founded The Actors and Writers Workshop which operated for a period of six years. Within this period, they had two more youngsters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
