April Lockhart
April Lockhart (born July 4 April, 1995) started her journey in music in the 7th grade when she started guitar and piano classes. When she was in seventh grade, April began taking guitar and piano lessons. It sparked her interest in songwriting. When she was 14 April spent a lot of her time making song lyrics and working on her music. Then, she began taking trips to NY and LA together with her father in order for them both write songs. April included other subjects in her track"Take my Hand. These topics included topics for her friends who dealt issues like peer pressure, issues or even teenage suicide ideas. Lockhart is a beauty and lifestyle influencer with an ever-growing number of followers. She works with popular brand Ilia in partnership, in addition to being a specialist in lifestyle. Born without a left hand, the woman has a significant part to play in herself. But it's not the entire tale. The profile of Lockhart on Instagram does not cover up her disability, but it does not just focus on her disability. What's the message? There is more to us than our physical selves. Our identities are complicated and include a myriad of dimensions. Lockhart is interviewed via video in Nashville. "I do not wish for it to dictate my life. I do not want to only be identified as a specialist in disability. The fact that she is a disability influencer doesn't impact my life. Everything is normal and I've learned to adapt. The same is true for my personality, and it's something that needs to be addressed. The journey of self-acceptance that Lockhart has taken is one that can last for a long time, and she has been a source of inspiration in this regard. However, she admits having moments when she felt uncomfortable with her appearance as well as wearing clothes which displayed her arms. She now wears any outfit she wants and posts pictures on Facebook in awe. To her, self-love was a long process. But, this isn't the case with anyone who has insecurities. It's important to have people in your life who know and appreciate the way you feel. They'll be the ones asking you: What do you worry about?
