Her most recent project as a director was the film short The God who Sees starring Nicole C. Mullen. The two co-wrote music for the movie. Gifford has supported numerous organizations that help children including Childhelp, The Association to Benefit Children and Cassidy's Place. Two houses named after her children were called Cassidy's Place & Cody House. Marymount University awarded her honorary diplomas for her humanitarian efforts she performed in the field of labor relations.

Sage Steele works as an American sports reporter for ESPN Sports Network. She is the co-anchor of SportsCenter on Sundays, from 12 midday ET. Sage Steele also is a co-anchor with Matt Barri.
