Tulloch received the nickname Bitsie as she started to act. It was her name until 2017 when she changed to Elizabeth. As I have always done and will continue to do, I'm Bitsie when speaking to someone. I liked the name when I began acting in my 20s. Now that I'm at my mid-30s, I feel like I need to go back to Elizabeth due to billing issues. While I was filming, I didn't think about it. It was Elizabeth that the producer noticed as she filled out the legal forms. Are you happy with this method of billing? Then I thought about it and I called my agent and my manager and they were like Yeah you know thats not an unwise suggestion. The time has come to age. Bitsie is a very adorable name. It is cutesy. Really, it was that. Its not like I introduce myself as Elizabeth now. This is just to bill me in the future. Tulloch is from Scottish as well as Spanish ancestry. Tulloch said that her main mother tongue is Spanish however she does not consider herself proficient in Spanish. Her grandfather's family came originally from Kirkwall as was her mother's came from Renfrewshire. In an exclusive interview with BBC News the reporter stated that we believe the Tullochs first came into the US in the period 1880-1890, and the Kerrs left in the early 1900s. Following her return back to her home in the U.S. in 1880, Tulloch attended the Bedford New York's middle and high schools.
