Jenna Fischer has become best well-known for her role as Pam Beesly, the character she played in The Office. In the course of playing this part, Jenna was honored with two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy as well as an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Jenna was born and raised on the streets of St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was attracted by her mother's performance in church at the time she started her journey.
Fischer is an actress who has theater training. She starred with Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway play Reasons to be Happy. She then starred in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist production starring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's first world premiere.
The cast of the show, including Angela Kinsey (the character mate to Fischer) and her actual best friend Angela Kinsey of The Office, started a podcast in October, called Office Ladies. The show has grown in popularity and has been a part of the Top Ten every single week. The first year, it received over 200 million downloads. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year Award in the month of January in 2021.
She is the writer of two books. The Actor's Life The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide, in which she describes her journey through St. Louis to Hollywood and her journey to becoming a successful actor. She is also the author of Office BFF's: Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends That Were There (co-authored together with Angela Kinsey) This book provides an account of their most memorable friendship as well as their work in The Office.
